Van Sales (Direct)

All van purchases require an initial deposit to secure the purchase.

VAT will be a charged (not applicable to VAT exempt countries).

Once the deposit is paid then the client will have a choice of how the van is delivered:

1. Direct to Client

The van can be delivered direct to the client’s location. Upon arriving the customer (or third party acting on behalf of the customer) is given time to check over the van. If the van is accepted the balance is paid by direct bank transfer. If the van is refused the van will be transported to our bodyshop in Cornwall. The deposit will be refunded minus the transportation fees to Cornwall.

Customer’s who live in non UK locations will need to pay the full balance before the van is shipped.

2. Direct to Our Bodyshop

The customer’s van will be imported and delivered direct to our bodyshop in Cornwall. The customer will be informed when it arrives and they can inspect the van (or third party acting on behalf of the customer). If the van is accepted then the balance is paid by bank transfer and the van will then be delivered to the customer’s address for free. If the van is refused then the deposit is refunded to the customer in full with no additional charges payable.

Van Ownership

Once a van has been delivered to the customer and the balance paid it becomes the property of the customer. There is no cooling off period. Due to the nature of the vans that we sell it is not possible to give any parts guarantees. Every van is sold as seen (Restoration projects may differ).

If the customer decides that they no longer want the van then we are happy to try to re-sell the van on the customer’s behalf. If the van is resold all payments will be refunded to the customer but transportation fees from the customer’s location to the new location will be charged.

Restoration Projects

All restoration projects require an initial deposit.

If a restoration project has started and the customer wishes to cancel then any deposits or additional project payments will be lost. We encourage our clients to continue to the end of a project where if we can sell the completed van we will refund all project costs to the customer, including any initial deposits.

Customer’s who live in non UK locations will need to pay the full balance before a restoration project can start.

Circumstances beyond our control; If projects run over their allocated time slots or are delayed through no fault of our own, we will continue as soon as conditions allow and are not subject to refunds or cancellations.

Delivery Times

We aim to deliver all vans (not restoration projects) within 14 days. However, this is not always possible due to circumstances outside of our control. We will keep you informed if we expect any delays.

Restoration projects usually take 12 weeks (from the start of the project) depending on the scale of work required.

Post Brexit deliveries are taking approximately 2 weeks. However, due to new rules and regulations, paperwork submitted can be delayed mainly due to French bureaucracy and unfortunately these delays are beyond our control. We will keep you informed as best we can.

Shipping to Non UK Countries

We aim to deliver vans to the dockside within 14 days. However, this is not always possible due to circumstances outside of our control. We will keep you informed if we expect any delays. The full balance is payable before the van is shipped.

Payments

Payments can be made by International Bank Transfer or BACS
